Features
Everything Domain Manager Pro 2.0 does to keep your portfolio healthy, current and yours.
Lookups & data
- RDAP first. Registration data is fetched over RDAP (HTTPS + JSON), the modern replacement for WHOIS, so results are structured and consistent across registries — including correct expiration dates for .com and .net.
- Classic WHOIS fallback. TLDs without RDAP automatically fall back to port-43 whois. Add your own servers in whois.ini.
- Every TLD, automatically. RDAP servers are discovered from the official IANA registry (cached locally, refreshed monthly). Extra servers — .io, .sh and .ac included — can be added in rdap-extra.ini.
- Full record per domain: registrar, whois server, name servers, status, updated / created / expiration dates and IP address.
- Raw data archive. The exact RDAP JSON or whois text for each domain is saved and viewable any time in the raw data viewer.
Monitoring & alerts
- Change detection. Rescans compare against the last scan and flag registrar, name server, status and expiration changes. Everything is appended to a change log with timestamps.
- Hijack warning. If a domain's transfer lock (clientTransferProhibited) disappears, Domain Manager Pro calls it out explicitly — that is how domain thefts start.
- Daily automatic rescan. Optional once-a-day background rescan of your whole portfolio turns the app into a true monitoring tool.
- Expiry alerts. Check for domains expiring within any window you choose (30 days by default), from the app or the system tray.
- Color-coded rows. Red = expired or expiring soon, orange = within 90 days. Problems are visible the moment the grid loads.
DNS health
- MX column. See instantly whether each domain has mail configured ("None" means no mail — intended or not, now you know).
- Live name servers. The DNS NS column shows where DNS actually delegates the domain — compare against the registry's records to catch mismatches.
- IP address. Resolved automatically during every scan.
Portfolio management
- Bulk add domains by pasting a list or loading a text file.
- Bulk availability check: paste candidate names and see which are unregistered (RDAP-powered).
- Bookkeeping columns: renewal cost, auto-renew, account and notes for every domain — edit them by double-clicking any row.
- CSV import and export, printable listings and HTML reports.
- Search across everything you have stored.
- Sortable columns — dates are normalized so they sort chronologically.
- Custom quick links: add your registrar's pages (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) to the right-click menu with the built-in menu editor.
- System tray icon, auto-save every minute, and an option to start with Windows.
- Polite scanning: configurable delay between lookups plus automatic retry, so registries never see you as a flood.
